The lettering on the spine is unfaded, the spine ends are rubbed and nicked. Well preserved for a jacket that is over 100 years old. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and tight. The boards are bright and clean. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are bruised. The pages are clean - they show gentle marginal toning. The closed page edges are toned and are spotted. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. No previous ownership inscriptions.
